People in a democracy ARE their government--"of the people, by the people, for the people," right? <BR/><BR/>Nobody, child or adult, likes being told what to do or what to eat, and I *like to think* that every consumer has a choice about how she spends her money and what she puts in her mouth.<BR/><BR/>However, government soy and corn subsidies certainly may influence what is being grown and what is less expensive to buy. (Why would so many companies switch to High Fructose Corn Syrup instead of sugar?
