Film talks about veganism

Seeing Through the Fence is the new movie that talks about veganism.

Free Market News Network describes that salads, parsley, chives and mustard can grow indoors.

Major League star, and first baseman for the Milwaukee Brewers Prince Fielder turns vegetarian.

Amy's Kitchen has a lot vegan products and they have a diet plan too. I have tried their soy burgers and garden burgers, vegan pizzas and my niece likes their spinach pockets and pies. It is sometimes fun to see how kids can take liking to one particular food and eat just that. For example, my daughter can easily eat soy cheese pizza, twice a week and not complain about it.

Today's quote:

"Some people like to paint pictures, or do gardening, or build a boat in the basement. Other people get a tremendous pleasure out of the kitchen, because cooking is just as creative and imaginative an activity as drawing, or wood carving, or music."
Julia Child

Whatever hobby or art we choose it is because we get immense pleasure and gratification from it. When something gives us happiness we want to do more of that whether it is gardening or building shelves or organizing or wood working. Cooking is a similar art because every time you go to the pantry and look at the ingredients you wonder if they could be used to make a dish that was never made before. You experiment. Surprisingly, it is not bad. Voila! A new dish is born and you enjoy the process and repeat it periodically. You might work on it a few times recreating the same taste or texture or atmosphere or changing a few ingredients to ultimately create the dish that sizzles your palate, fills your stomach and soothes your heart. Congrats! an artist in you is born. Go forward from there and make many more masterpieces wherever it is that your heart takes you.

Enjoy your weekend and Happy Cooking!
