Pugliese bread fritters with carom seeds

Batter preparation

Low to medium heat ensures the taste of the fritters

I made Pugliese bread fritters for some friends and they were a great hit among kids and adults. The reason I selected Pugliese bread is because it has wholesome ingredients, hearty flavor, and is vegan, It can be bought at Trader Joes, and Whole Foods. It takes about 15 min for prep time for batter and an hour of frying time for golden brown crunchy fritters.

Those Pugliese bread fritters look really delicious! I'll have to put this on my "Thing to Buy" list whenever I'm at a Whole Foods. Thank you for sharing!
