An article that talks about embracing a vegan diet. Eva Silverman, graphic designer, ate meat when she was a kid but slowly changed her diet when her vegetarian father passed away. She became a vegetarian and eventually a vegan.

There will be a vegan fashion show at the San Francisco Vegetarian Society's 11th Annual World Vegetarian Festival this weekend in Golden Gate Park's County Fair Building in California.

Entrance to the vegan fashion show is included with the $7 admission to the festival. It takes place from 4:45 to 6 p.m. Saturday, October 2. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday inside the fair building at the corner of 9th Avenue and Lincoln.
