Vegan highlights:

Let's look at vegan or vegetarian related events around the world.

VegFest 2008 is coming soon at the Seattle Exhibition Center on March 29th and 30th.
I was a volunteer at this Festival, a few years ago and was fascinated by the amazing samples they displayed. It was nice to give veg friendly literature to people and talk about similar veg products and distribute food samples. The food samples were great. I was introduced to Natracare, promoting biodegradable, environmentally conscious feminine hygiene products, which was intriguing at the time.

Actor Toby Maguire who is a vegan has banned animal products from his home. His guests leave their leather belts/ handbags etc. at the door.

Vegan shoes no longer have to be boring. Now they can be trendy and colorful.

Kids shoes are durable and flexible as well as environmentally conscious.

Earth Crisis is the vegan band that talked about animal activism which started in early 1990s until they disbanded in 2001. Now, the punk style band is back and is touring Europe and US.
